Obituary of Ronald Douglas Craft

It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Douglas Craft on August 18, 2016. He was the beloved husband of Marilyn (Titus) and father to sons Mark (Diana) and their children: Nathan (Laicie), Adam and Cody (Emily) and Jeffrey (Christine) and their son Ronald, daughters Jennifer (Ross Knodell) and Laureen (Michael Douthwright) and their children: Davis and Ruby. Ron was born on June 21, 1932 to the late Isaac and Mildred (Ferris) Craft in Saint John and was a proud lifelong resident of the North End and Millidgeville. Ron retired from NB Power in 1992 after 37 years and was employed with Lifeline from 1992 to the time of his death. He was an avid music lover and was a 50 year member of the Beaus and Belles Square Dance Club. He was a past member of Thistle St. Andrews Curling Club. One of his greatest loves was his time spent trailering at Sunrise Shores, Hilltop and Pirate’s Cove Campground. He was a dedicated volunteer over the years with Meals on Wheels, Hospice, St. Luke’s Church, Cub Leader and Minor Hockey. Visitation will be held at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) on Monday, August 22 from 4-8 PM and Tuesday, August 23 from 2-8 PM. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 24 at 2 PM from St. Luke’s Church, Main Street, North.
