Obituary of Deborah Ruth Mitton

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Deborah Ruth Mitton announces her passing, which occurred on Friday, April 22, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Newcastle, NB, she was a daughter of the late Theodore and Ruth (Walls) Harrison and loving wife of Steven H. J. Mitton. In addition to her husband, she will be missed by her children, Adam Mitton (Lisa Sullivan), Katherine Hutchings (Darrell) and Angela Graham (Scott); five grandchildren, Matthew, Ryan, Corey, Isabelle and Connor; two great granddaughters, Shaelee and Adlee; siblings, John Harrison (Vanda), Wayne Harrison (Ross), David Harrison (Sheila), Barry Harrison (Cathy), Hayward Harrison (Joyce) and Cheryl Harrison; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her parents and two sisters, Jean Hanlon and Nancy Jones. Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). As per Deborah’s request, no visitation or funeral service will take place. For those who wish, remembrances made to any charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
