Obituary of Dawn Marie Dwyer

It is with great sadness that the family of Dawn Marie Dwyer, loving wife of Calvin Dwyer, announces her passing which occurred on Friday, September 9, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was born on April 26, 1956 and was a daughter to the late Walter and Barbara (Little) Brighton. Dawn was a happy-go-lucky and loving person. She enjoyed life and spending time doing the things that she loved, whether it was swimming in her pool, catching up with current events on CNN or just perusing through Facebook. She adored animals and spoiled her dogs often. Dawn travelled and took great pleasure in cross country drives with Calvin. Above all, spending time with her family meant the most. Dawn’s infectious, and at times inappropriate, laugh and smile will resonate within her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Dawn will be remembered lovingly by her surviving family, her husband Calvin, their children: Stacey Kennie (Mark Melanson) and Chris Dwyer (Kimberly Clark), her grandchildren: Jordan, Cameron, Claire and Alexis, her siblings Karen Brighton, Dorothy Miller, Jimmy Brighton and David Brighton along with several nieces, nephews and members of her extended family. Dawn was predeceased by her parents. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). Keeping with Dawn’s wishes, there will be no visitation and a private family service will take place. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the SPCA-Animal Rescue.
