Obituary of Arthur Joseph Duguay

The death of Arthur Duguay of Saint John occurred unexpectedly after a brief illness on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on June 18, 1945 in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Sylvestrd and Lida (Robychaud) Duguay. Art had a long working career as a heavy equipment operator with various construction companies throughout the city. He loved to travel, was a jack of all trades and especially enjoyed woodworking and fixing up vehicles. Art is survived by his children, Linda, Sylvie, David, Arthur "Junior" and Robert; siblings; several grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was also predeceased by three sisters and one brother. As per Art’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Saint John SPCA Animal Rescue or the Parkinson Society of Canada - Maritime Region.
