Obituary of Janet A. Reed

The death of Janet Reed occurred on Sunday, May 29, 2016 at the Church of St. John and St. Stephen Nursing Home. Born on October 31, 1922 in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Harding and Mary Gault (Armstrong) Reed. In addition to her parents, Janet was also predeceased by her brother in infancy, Kenneth Craig Reed; as well as her sisters, Mary Elizabeth Reed and Frances Harriett Reed. Janet was the last surviving member of her immediate family. As per Janet’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery, at a later date. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Church of St. John and St. Stephen Nursing Home.
