Obituary of Eunice Patricia Middleton

It is with appreciation for a life well lived, that the family of Pat Middleton, loving wife of the late Ernest Frederick Middleton, announces her passing which occurred on September 21, 2016 at Kennebec Manor. Pat was born on August 11, 1921 and was a daughter of the late Leroy and Frances (Eldridge) Chamberlain. Pat had quite a green thumb and could often times be found farming her land and gardening. She was very creative and always had a project on the go whether it was needle work, knitting or quilting. Her family certainly benefitted from her talents. She also loved reading and would immerse herself in any bit of literature she could get her hands on. Pat will be remembered by her surviving family, her children Richard (Donna) Middleton and John Middleton, her grandchildren: Chris, Ryan, Christina and Danielle, her 6 great grandchildren. Pat is also survived by Joe’s children Ann McKinney, Brian (Brenda) Chamberlain, Bonnie (Kevin) Hourihan and their families, Audrey’s daughter Donna and family, along with several nieces, nephews and members of her extended family. Besides her parents, Pat was predeceased by her husband Ernest, her infant daughter Diana Lynn Sharon Middleton, her sister Audrey Fraser and brother Joe Chamberlain, grandson Patrick, sister-in-law Helen , brother-in-law Murdock, nephews-in-law David Simons and Fred McKinney along with great nephews Dana Chamberlain and Andrew Hourihan. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenans Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424). In keeping with Pats wishes, there will be no visitation, but a small graveside service will take place for family and friends on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 11 AM at Long Reach United Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Kennebec Manor or Long Reach United Church.
