She enjoyed taking trips back home to the Island and would do them regularly when she was able. In her years, Hilda worked at the Barrel House, General Hospital and Factory Shoe Outlet before retiring. Hilda is survived by her daughter Mary Ann Barrett, grandchildren Lorraine Quick (Kevin), William Guimond (Crystal McMillan), Tina LeGresley (Serge), Daniel Guimond (Missy), Carla Ward (Dwayne Stilwell), Ronald Osmon (Sue), Tanya Handsor, Zyrack Osmon along with many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, sister Gladys Gallant (Edward).
