Obituary of Robert Lloyd Milton

Robert Lloyd Milton "Bob", 66 years old of Saint John, NB, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Bob was surrounded by his family and knew it was his time to go. A simple memorial service will be held at Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at 12:00 PM, followed by a brief reception. Bob was born in Saint John to Percy and Dorothy Milton on June 20, 1950. He grew up in Saint John and made many friends in the area. He married his ex-wife Debbie McKay in June 1979 in Hammond River, NB. Bobby had an interesting life and never made excuses or complained about his choices. He was a "non-traditional" man who left a big mark on every situation and person he met. His generosity and loyalty to his friends and family was nothing short of legendary. Bob was preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberley Fairweather and his parents, Percy and Dorothy Milton. Bob is survived by his ex-wife, Debbie McKay; his sons, Anthony Milton and Matthew Milton; his grandchildren, Jake and Mia; his sisters, Carolyne Kennedy and Joni Tsouriganis and their children, Darin, Michael and David Kennedy, Elias and Sophie Tsouriganis, as well as a large extended family in the Plaster Rock, NB area from his mother Dorothy’s side. The family of Bobby Milton wishes to extend their sincere thanks to Doctor Mark Tutschka and Doctor Duncan Webster; as well as to the excellent, patient and professional nurses of the Intensive Care Unit at the Saint John Regional Hospital. In lieu of flowers the family asks that any donations be made to the Canadian Liver Foundation - Saint John Chapter.
