Obituary of Everett LeRoy Pye

Everett LeRoy Pye, passed away on May 12, 2016 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on September 7, 1933 in Saint John he was a son of the late William and Elizabeth (Thompson) Pye. Roy enjoyed fishing, hunting, being outdoors and going for drives. He loved being around family and friends. He was a cherished father and grandfather. Surviving are his wife, Shirley (Quinlan); children, Steve (Darlene) Pye, Moncton; Diane Pye (Ian Spicer); Barb Reid (Aaron); Bill (Laura) Woodhouse; Donna (Robert) O’Donell; Linda (George) Pelletier, all of Saint John; Sherry (Frank) Dixon; Greg (Vicky) Pye, both of Grand Bay; Donald Pye, Browns Flat; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he is predeceased by his first wife, Joanie K. (Stevens); brothers, Harry and Ned; sisters, Katie, Mary, Alice and Winnie. . Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Monday, May 16 from 2 -9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Trinity Church, 21 Canon Street, on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at 12 PM. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Remembrances in memory of Roy’s may be made to The Lung Association of New Brunswick.
