Obituary of Paul Douglas LeBlanc

Surrounded by his loving family the death of Paul LeBlanc, husband of Peggy LeBlanc occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on April 20, 2012 after a valiant battle with Cancer. He was born on January 1, 1957 in Chatham to the late Arthur and Jean (White) LeBlanc. Paul loved his career as a Saint John Transit Driver. He was a member of the Amalgamated Transit Union Local 1182. Paul was a Cub Scout leader with the Silver Falls Cub Pack. In his spare time, he liked to camp and fish. Besides his devoted wife, Peggy he is survived by his son, Kelly (Melissa McGovern) of Edmonton, AB; daughter, Pauline LeBlanc of Saint John; brothers: Art (Betty) and Stephen (Cindi) both of Saint John; sister, Denise Bettle (Daryl) of Hampton; grandchildren: Jamie, A.J., Madison, Jaden and Riley and several nieces and nephews. Paul was predeceased by his parents and brother, Brian LeBlanc. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Sunday, April 22, 2012, and Monday, April 23, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from Brenan's Chapel on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at 11:00 am. Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to the Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
