Obituary of Douglas Guy Grant

Douglas Guy Grant, formerly of Saint John, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at his residence in St. Albert, Alberta. Doug was born in Saint John on September 21, 1960, the son of Berlin A. Grant and the late Florida (Harquail) Grant. Doug had been working in Alberta for several years, and was an avid Harley Davidson motorcyclist. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Doug is survived by his father, Berlin Grant of Saint John; sisters Dianne Mason (Allan) of Saint John and Beverly Bell (Jason Scott) of Saint John; a brother, Donald Grant (Brenda) of Welsford; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. A graveside funeral service will be held at a later date at Greenwood Cemetery, Sand Cove Road, Saint John West. The funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424).
