Obituary of Louise Irene McGraw

Mrs. Louise McGraw, wife of the late David J. McGraw, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2011 at her residence in the Dr. V.A. Snow Centre in Hampton. Born September 17, 1918 in Joggins, NS, she was a daughter of the late Charles J. and Ella Mae (Burke) LeBlanc. Being a woman of great faith, Louise devoted her life to her children, her marriage, and her church. Louise is survived by her children, Joanna Barnaby (Dan) of Ottawa; Gerald McGrath (Marjorie) of Hampton; and Deborah Wervers (Hans) of Summerside; brothers, Fred LeBlanc and Tom (Sarah), both of Shediac; sister, Ruth Mitchell (George "Bud") of Oshawa; grandchildren, Jason (Angela), Kristopher, Scott (Phuong), Neil (Erin), Angela (Randy), and Crystal (Dominic); great-grandchildren, Mary-Katherine; Laken; Jacob; Emma; Joshua, Zachary, Cassidy, Alyssa, Nolan, Madison, Kristopher, and Paxton; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by brothers: Jerry, Cecil, John, and Arthur; sister, Flo Brine; and great-granddaughter, Hailey Victoria. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, 634-7424, visiting will be held on Sunday, November 27, 2011 from 7-9 and Monday, November 28, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Joachim’s Church on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at 12 PM. Interment will take place in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
