Obituary of Frank Malcolm Whipple

The death of Frank Malcolm Whipple occurred at the Ridgewood Veteran’s Wing on Wednesday, June 22, 2011. He was born on November 16, 1921 in Saint John to the late Frederick and Minnie (McCaul) Whipple. Frank was an avid sports fan and enjoyed baseball most of all. He loved listening to jazz music and spending time reading. Surviving are his sons, Paul and David; sisters and brother, Vivian (Stuart) Walsh, Hamilton ON; Mary Raynes, Saint John, NB; Susan (Alex) MacGibbon, Gagetown, NB; Marcia (Jimmy) Mason, Saint John, NB; Patricia Kennedy, Oromocto, NB; Fred Whiple, Saint John, NB. Besides his parents he was predeceased by brothers, Kay-Don and Coster; sister, Gloria. To honour Frank’s request there will be no visitation or funeral service. For those who wish, remembrances to the Ridgewood Veteran’s Wing would be appreciated by the family.
