Obituary of Paul Arthur Henderson

The death of Paul Arthur Henderson of Saint John, NB, occurred on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at his residence. Born in Henderson Settlement on November 23, 1938 he was a son of the late Roy and Laura (Mott) Henderson. Paul graduated from Bellisle Regional High School in 1956. He taught for a number of years in several schools. Paul loved to play bingo and take bus trips to Halifax and Moncton. He volunteered for the Uptown Community Food Basket. Paul worked at the YMCA. Paul was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents; four brothers, Ronald, Glendon, Ralph and Arnold; one sister, Vivian. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 11, 2011 at 10:00 am from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment in Belyea Cove Cemetery.
