Obituary of Helen Joyce Wells
It is with great sadness that the family of Helen Joyce Wells (nee White) announce that she passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Monday, October 10, 2011. Born on August 18, 1931 in Millidgeville, NB she was a daughter of the late George and Helen (Giggey) White. Joyce was a member of St. Luke’s Anglican Church. She was an employee of NBTEL for 24 years. Most of all she was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, neighbor and friend, she will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her daughters, Bonnie (Bruce) of Truro, NS; Hollie (Bob) of Oromocto, NB and Nancie (David) of Little Rock, AR; her son, Kelly (Trina) of Kingston, NB; thirteen grandchildren, Bruce, Shauna, Kim, Carrie, Rob, Lee, David, Danika, Aaron, Shannon, Pam, Carol and Kyle; nineteen great-grandchildren; sister, Janet (Wendell) Scribner; brother-in-law, Bill Foster and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Wally; sister, Beverley; brother, Donald and sister-in-law, Marilyn. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the Canadian Red Cross and also the Kennebecasis Extra Mural program for their care and compassion. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2011 at 11:00 AM from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to take place in All Saints Cemetery, Clifton Royal. In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the ALS Society would be appreciated by the family.
