Obituary of Lillian Flora Watson

The death of Lillian Flora (Snow) Watson of Saint John, NB, wife of the late William Watson, occurred on Thursday, March 24, 2011 at the Loch Lomond Villa Inc. Born at Saint John she was a daughter of the late Leonard and Ellen (Stone) Snow. Lillian was employed with Kwik Pik and later with the Telegraph Journal in the Circulation Department. She is survived by three sons: Mansfield (Sandra) of Foxboro, MA, John (Sylvia) of Saint John, NB, and Larry (Nancy) of Rothesay; NB; two daughters: Sandra Messer (Gordon) of Rothesay, NB, and Brenda Sleep (William) of Kiersteadville, NB; one brother, Harold Snow (Lori) of Grimsby, ON; beloved sister, Bernice "Bernie" Vaughan of Saint John, NB; twelve grandchildren: Tony, Wayne, Kathy, Todd, Scott, Lori, Tricia, John B., Cal, Chelsey, Aaron and Michael; twenty one great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; special family friend, Hazel (Shanks) Stevens; several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents she was predeceased by infant son, Wayne Douglas; brother, Gordon Snow; sisters in law, Jean Snow and Gloria Snow; brother in law, Ronald Vaughan; great grandson, Alec Scott Messer. To honour Lillian’s request cremation will take place prior to visitation on Sunday, March 27, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Monday, March 28, 2011 at 12 Noon from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (634-7424). Interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery.
