Obituary of Helen Augusta Flewelling

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Helen Augusta Flewelling of Long Reach, wife of the late Lorne Elmer Flewelling, which occurred on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at the Kings Way Care Centre. Born on August 3, 1919 in Holderville, NB, she was a daughter of the late Leonard and Minnie (Holder) Williams. Helen loved to quilt and knit. She was a pioneer and life member of Long Reach United Church. She is survived by her loving children, Wendell (Donna) Flewelling of Hampton and Roberta (Paul) Withers of Saint John; two grandsons, David (Melissa) and Christopher Withers; two step-granddaughters, Sheri (Stephen) Roux and Kimberley (Ray) Leger; one great-granddaughter and four step-great-grandsons; two nieces and many cousins. Predeceased by her parents, husband and brother, Ralph Williams. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Sunday, February 19, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm A Funeral Service will be held from Brenan's Chapel on Monday, February 20, 2012 at 10:00 AM. Interment to take place at Long Reach United Church Cemetery in the spring. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Long Reach United Church or the charity of the donor’s choice.
