Obituary of Margaret Mary Lundy

The death of Margaret Mary Lundy of Garden Court, Rocmaura Nursing Home and New River Beach, NB, wife of the late Paul J. Lundy, occurred peacefully on Wednesday, February 23, 2011. Born in Saint John on October 13, 1924, she was a daughter of the late George and Emily (Biddiscombe) Quigley. Margaret is survived by four children: Marina (Peter) Forestell of Rothesay, NB; Mark (Mary Jane) Lundy of East Dover, NS; Tom (Kim) Lundy of Hampton, NB and William (Kelly) Lundy of Newfoundland; grandchildren, Katie (Patrick) O’Donovan of Toronto, Emily Forestell of Fredericton, Patrick Forestell of Sackville, Kevin Forestell of Toronto, Adam Lundy of Northwest Territories, Tara Lundy of Halifax, Haley Lundy of Fredericton, Cassidy Lundy, Taylor Lundy and Caitlyn Lundy of Hampton; one brother, Louis (Theresia) Quigley of Riverview, NB; two sisters, Catherine (Earl) Pitt of Rothesay and Mary O’Keefe of Florenceville, NB; sister-in-law, Julia Quigley of Saint John; brother-in-law, Charles Polchies of Woodstock and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, Paul J. Lundy; one brother, Patrick Quigley; two sisters, Anne Craig and Rita Polchies; brothers-in-law, Walter Craig and J. Beverly O’Keefe. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Friday, February 25, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at 12:00 noon.
