Obituary of Harold James Harris

Harold James "Jimmy" Harris passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2011 at his residence in Enniskillen, NB. Born in Saint John, NB on July 2, 1949, he was a son of the late Harold J. and Mary R. (Cox) Harris. He lived in Rothesay and Quispamsis for a number of years and was a cabinet maker and carpenter. In the 60’s and 70’s he worked on many construction projects in Saint John. In 1975 he moved to Enniskillen and worked for a number of years at DND Base, Gagetown, and on civic projects in Fredericton Junction. He had a wonderful sense of humor and a great love of music. For 62 years he was the perfect brother to Wayne, Dennis, Bruce and his sister, Helen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A funeral service will be held from Brenan's Chapel on Friday, May 20, 2011 at 12 noon. Interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to the Canadian Red Cross or White Rapid’s Nursing Home would be appreciated by the family.
