Obituary of Charlotte Gertrude Babbitt

The death of Charlotte Babbitt of Saint John, NB, occurred on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at St. John and St. Stephen Nursing Home. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on August 31, 1925 she was a daughter of the late William and Ethel Babbitt. Charlotte worked for the Bank of Montreal for 42 years until her retirement in December of 1984. She is survived by her two nieces, Charlotte Roberts and Ann Jackson; two nephews, Warren Gerow and William "Bill" Crabb. Predeceased by her sisters, Marjorie Babbitt-Crabb; Geraldine Babbitt-Gerow and infant sister, Martha. In keeping with Charlotte’s wishes there will be no formal visitation or funeral service. A graveside service was held on Thursday, February 10, 2011 at Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Remembrances may be made to the Salvation Army.
