Obituary of Alan William Bustin

"Oh Lord of Hosts, Blessed is the man who trusts in Him." - Psalm 34:8 Alan was a man who loved and trusted the Lord. It is with great sadness, that the family of Alan Bustin, announces his death on March 18, 2012, at the Saint John Regional Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Saint John on June 30, 1955, Alan was a son of the late William and Joan Bustin. In addition to his loving wife, Lynn (Freeze), Alan is survived by his son, Alan Junior; daughter, Dinah-Joan; granddaughter, Alana; brothers, Kenny of Ontario, William (Maria) of Fort Myers, Matthew (Lisa) of Rothesay; sisters, Diane Bustin and Janice (Bob) Doughty both of Deer Island; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, Alan was predeceased by his cherished friend, Isabel Jones of Saint John. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424) with visiting on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A celebration of Alan’s life will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at 10:00 am.
