In her spare time, she enjoyed cross country skiing, knitting and crochet, playing cards, walking, and camping at Grand Lake, but mostly she enjoyed her grandchildren, who were the apple of her eye. Donna is survived by her children, Kyle Logan (Susan), Leanne Clayton (Tom) and Kim Mayes (Sean), all of Quispamsis; grandchildren Jordan and Jaime Logan, Logan, Mitch, and Rachel Clayton, and Nathan and Matthew Mayes; sisters Connie Chase of Saint John and Irene Smythe (Fred Manzer) of Rothesay; brothers Ken Nelson (Joan), Burt Nelson (Sandra), and Carl Nelson (Cathy), all of Saint John; a brother-in-law, Don Logan (Joyce) of Hampton; a sister-in-law, Edith Mabie of Fredericton; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and to her parents, Donna was predeceased by brothers Robert and Thomas Nelson; brothers-in-law Doug Chase, Don Mabie, and Don Smythe; and a niece, Susan (Nelson) Sullivan. Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Tuesday, July 12, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at 10:00 AM. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery.
