Obituary of Garth Peniston McKee

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Garth Peniston McKee of Saint John, husband of Donna (Verner) McKee, which occurred on Tuesday, January 18, 2012 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on January 23, 1956 he was a son of the late Lloyd and Barbara (Starr) McKee. Garth worked for various cab companies in the Saint John area. He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Donna; children, Michael (Courtney); Mason; Joseph (Kari); Anthony (Eva); Aaron; Brittnee and Casey; five grandchildren, Kolton, Khloe, Anthony Jr., Katie and Dawson; one sister, Kim (Chuck) Summerville; one niece and one nephew. Resting at Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visiting on Thursday, January 19, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 20, 2012 at 12:00 noon from Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. For those who wish remembrances may be made to PRO Kids or any charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
