Obituary of Lorna Ferguson

Ferguson, Lorna Elda … The death of Lorna Elda Ferguson of Saint John, NB, wife of the late Vincent Ferguson, occurred on Monday, March 2, 2009 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Miscou Harbour, NB on March 13, 1927, she was a daughter of the late George and Rena (Vibert) Brown. Lorna had been employed as a Psychiatric Nursing Assistant at the Provincial Hospital. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda (Dennis) Votour of Oromocto, NB; three grandchildren, Kimberley (Glen) Gallant, Jeffrey and Shane Votour; two sisters, Elsie Brown of Saint John and Lyma (Hubert) Crocker of Bangor, ME; several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband she was predeceased by four brothers, Elmer, Byron, Mackenzie and Carl; four sisters, Melinda, Della, Lettie and Jane. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Thursday, March 5, 2009 at 10:00 am. Interment will be in Fernhill Cemetery.
