Obituary of Audrey Toner

Toner, Audrey Jean … The death of Audrey Toner of Saint John, NB, wife of the late Ronald Samuel Toner, occurred on Sunday, June 7, 2009 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John on December 1, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Dr. Harry and Mary (Flowers) London. Audrey had been employed at the Saint John T.B. Hospital for seven years and then as a Pediatric Ward Attendant on the 8th floor of the Saint John General Hospital for twenty years. Survived by her two daughters, Patricia E. Moore (Don Robertson) and Deborah J. (Kevin) McGrath both of Saint John; five grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, several cousins, nieces and nephews. Audrey was the last surviving member of her immediate family, having been predeceased by her twelve siblings. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held from Brenan’s Chapel on Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at 10:00 am. Interment in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery.
