Obituary of Yvonne M. Roy

The death of Yvonne Roy occurred at her residence, Rocmaura Nursing Home on December 12, 2007. She was born on March 4, 1913 in Caraquet, NB to the late Xavier and Susie (Pourier) Theriault. Yvonne worked for the MM Home and Rocmaura Nursing Home until her retirement. She is survived by one son: Raymond (Gladys Davis) of Saint John; one daughter: Marjoire Edison of Saint John and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Yvonne was predeceased by her husband Victor and two sons Geremy and Wallace. Resting at Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) with visitation on Thrusday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held from the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Friday, December 14, 2007 at 12:05 pm. Interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Rememberances may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
