Obituary of Hartley A. Kincade

The death of Hartley Allen Kincade of Ragged Pt. Road, husband of loving wife Shirley (O'Dell) Kincade of 35 years, occurred on Wednesday, December 15, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John he was the son of the late Malcolm and Jane (Durant) Kincade. Hartley was employed as a commercial fisherman for many years; he owned, operated and built his boat, the “Bonny Blinn”. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and building with wood. He is survived by sons Bev of Toronto, Norman and Mark (Gwen) both of Saint John; daughters Kimberly Beman, Sandra Hicks and Lisa (Costa Garinis) Ayer all of Saint John; sister Beverly Dennison of Saint John; eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many special friends. He was predeceased by son Larry. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (506-634-7424) with visiting on Thursday and Friday, December 16 & 17, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2004 from Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel at 10 am. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens at a later date. In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
