Obituary of OLIVE S. LONGON

The death of Miss Olive Sara Longon of Saint John, occurred on Monday, February 14, 2005 at Rocmaura Nursing Home. Born in Saint John, on September 15, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Martha (Long) Longon. Miss Longon was the Receptionist at Saint John High School for 35 years, before her retirement in 1982. She is survived by several cousins, one nephew, Tom Longon (Carreen) of Saint John and several great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Thomas and Russell and nephew Brian. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, February 18, 2005 at 10:00 AM. Interment in Fernhill Cemetery. Remembrances to Rocmaura Nursing Home or Germain Street Baptist Church would be appreciated.
