Obituary of Annagrace Wynyard Case

The death of Annagrace Wynyard Case (Palmer-Clarke) M. mus, M. English, B. th, Bsc N., of Millidge Avenue, Saint John, NB, wife of the late Lyle E. Case (1991), occurred peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday, February 2, 2005, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born November 21, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Gladwyn and Adeline (Campbell) Palmer-Clarke. Mrs. Case was a graduate of University of California at Berkeley, obtaining four degrees. She had been a World renowned Concert Violinist up to the outbreak of war. She was commissioned to the Royal Canadian Army and served at the rank of Captain until 1947. She had owned several businesses throughout the years including a nursing home in Kitchener, ON and had been a Market research analyst from 1970-1990, employing several hundred people throughout the Maritimes. She was past President of the Ontario Home and School Association and past President of the Canadian Home and School Association. She was most recently a much sought after public speaker for various Christian organizations and demonstrated her love and concern to all that knew her. She will be sadly missed by sons, Lyle (Phyllis Sperry) of Halifax, Stephen (Linda) of Thailand, Randolph (Randy) (Chantal Lepage) of Saint John and Donovan (Heather) of Quispamsis, foster daughters, Diane Spearman of Rome, Italy and Jean Quinn (Jack) of New Westminster, BC, grandchildren, Leah, Angela, Hannah, Abigail, and Daniel and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Melanie and sisters, Esther (Star) and Marie Grace. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at the North Side Assembly, Millidge Avenue, Saint John on Saturday, February 5, 2005 at 11:00 AM. Interment in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. Remembrances to the charity of the donors' choice would be appreciated.
