Obituary of William J. Boyle

The death of William J. (Bill) Boyle occurred on December 20, 2002, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born at Bloomfield, NB, he was the son of the late William James and Thelma Marie (Campbell) Boyle. He was employed with the City of Saint John until his retirement. He is survived by his daughters Diana Williams and her husband Bruce of Saint John, Barbara Williams of Saint John, Cathy Sorensen of Saint John, Brenda Mitchell of Nova Scotia, Billie Jo Comeau and her husband Kevin of Saint John, his sisters Mabel Reid and her spouse Pete of Ottawa, Evelyn Goguen and her husband Danny of Halifax, his eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several cousins, nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his special K-9 friend Bear. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Saturday from 7-9 PM and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 23, 2002, at 11:15 AM, from St. Peter's Church. Interment will take place at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
