Obituary of Eleanor Genevieve (Ellie) Calder

Our 'Special Little Ellie' went home to be with God on Monday, October 21, 2002. She had resided on Deacon Lane, St. Stephen for the past few years. She was born on her beloved Campobello Island where she spent most of her life and which will be her final resting place. She was the daughter of the late Gordon and Marion (Clark) Calder. She was employed with Stedman's Department Store for many years and retired from Ganong Bros. Ltd. She is survived by her brother Wesley Donald Calder and his wife Mary Margaret of Grand Bay, her nieces Lois Isabel (Lee) French of Saint John, Katheleen Jean Willier (Lester) of Nerepis, three great-nephews, three great-great nieces, and several couisins. Following cremation at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), the funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2002, at 2:00 PM, at St. Anne's Anglican Church, Campobello. Interment will take place at St. Anne's Church Cemetery. Remembrances made to St. Anne's Anglican Church would be appreciated by the family.
