Obituary of Mary Susan Sullivan

Mary Susan Sullivan, 40, of Lower Coverdale, passed away peacefully at her residence on Saturday, October 19, 2002 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born and raised in Saint John, NB, she was the daughter of Kenneth and Joan (Rourke) Nelson of Saint John. Susan was a grade five teacher at Lou McNairn School and an active member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her loving husband Kevin, her beloved daughters Jillian and Emily, a sister Jennifer Nelson and a brother Jeff Nelson of Saint John, her in-laws Donald and Doreen Sullivan, and an extended network of cherished family and friends. Resting at Riverview Funeral Home (214 Pine Glen Rd in Riverview) on Tuesday, October 22nd from 7:00 to 9:00 pm, and from Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home (111 Paradise Row in Saint John) on Wednesday, October 23rd from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. The funeral mass will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Saint John on Thursday, October 24th, 2002 at 10:00 am with Fr. Joe Cochrane officiating. Although she is gone from our lives, she will always remain in our hearts and minds. Susan's love of life has been, and will continue to be an inspiration to us all.
