Obituary of Clifford Leonard Jones

The death of Mr. Clifford Leonard Jones of 70 Donaldson Street, Saint John, husband of the late Violet (Diblee) Jones, occurred on Tuesday, January 7, 2003, at Dobbelsteyn's Active Care Home. Born in Saint John, he was the son of the late Herbert and Matilda (McConnell) Jones. Mr. Jones was a Psychiatric Attendant at Centracare for many years, before his retirement. He was a member of the Silver Links Millidgeville Seniors Club and the Jervis Bay Legion, Branch #53. He is survived by two daughters, Helen Brown (Jack) of Saint John and Diana Jones of Toronto, ON, three grand-daughters, Jennifer Wong (Warwick), Jodi Brown, both of Ottawa, ON and Daniella Lurion of Toronto, ON, one sister, Muriel Garnett of Wells, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by four brothers, Walter, Medley, Burton and Fred, four sisters, Edith Keeling, Mabel Cathline, Dorcas Jones and Hazel Garnett, and his companion Constance Waters. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Brenan's Funeral Home Chapel, on Friday, January 10, 2003 at 11:00 AM. Interment in Fernhill Cemetery.
