Obituary of Clara Grace Hersey

The death of Miss Clara Grace Hersey occurred on November 8, 2002, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born at Snider's Mountain she was the daughter of the late Frank Bliss and Clara Lillian (Fisher) Hersey. She was employed in the Housekeeping and Dietary Department of the DVA Hospital and the Saint John Regional Hospital retiring in 1988. She had been active with the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 69. She is survived by her sisters Elsie Hersey of Saint John, Margaret Chestnut of Berwick, NB, and several cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Ronald Hersey and her sisters Sarah Gautreau and Constance Dobson. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Sunday from 7-9 PM and Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 12, 2002, at 1:00 PM, from Brenan's Chapel. Interment will take place at Fernhill Cemetery.
