Doug & June MacEachern posted a condolence
Dear Gwen & family: It was with a sense of shock that we learned earlier today through Cliff Moase of Jim's passing. Many great memories come to mind of days at Mount A & Pine Hill and the "joy" of being together on the occasion of our 55th. years of ordination at Mount A. in 2011. May you and yours Gwen, know the strength and inspiration of the message which Jim shared with many others. "Because I live you will live also.." With richest blessings, Doug "Stretch" & June MacEachern

I am so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. Gracie was just telling me he was on the mend, so it was sad to hear the news. No doubt your home is alive with stories and memories, and hopefully these will help get you through the loss of husband and father. I have some lovely memories of Jim, in particular christening Gracie, and dressed as father time, and of course the various MacStack reunions. Again, my condelences. Kelly

Donald Hill posted a condolence
Sending condolences to Gwen and family from a member of St. Andrew's, Sydney when Jim was a minister there. Those were good times in the life and witness of that pastoral charge. My Dad, Gordon Hill, was Clerk of Session then (serving a 42 year span in that role) and would have worked closely with Jim. That was near the beginning of what would prove to be a very long and distinguished career in ministry for Jim, which was to continue for 55 years - amazing! The church was fortunate to have such a fine and dedicated person for so long. Like Jim (and Gwen), I went on to Mt. A, and met and married a girl I met there. May the many happy memories you must have of Jim help sustain you thru the years ahead. God bless you all. Don Hill (Dartmouth)
