Obituary of Dora Estelle Saunders

The passing of Dora Saunders, occurred at Kings Way Care Centre on Wednesday, October 15, 2014. She was born in Saint John on September 14, 1924 to Walter and Nettie (Hatfield) Moore. Dora is survived by her son Stephen Saunders and his wife Marguerite of Quispamsis and daughter Deborah Bradley and husband Bruce of Montreal: four grandchildren Troy and Dale Bradley of Montreal: Darren and Allison Saunders of Quispamsis: and one great-granddaughter Alexa Bradley of Montreal. She is also survived by sisters-in-law Bea Moore and Geraldine Saunders. Besides her parents Dora was predeceased by her brothers W. Kenneth Moore and Murray V. Moore. Dora was employed by Provincial Insurance for 28 years and several other insurance companies throughout the province. She was a former member of Central Baptist Church and now a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. The family would like to thank all the staff of Kings Way Care Centre in Quispamsis, where Dora lived her final years, for their outstanding care and compassion. Your kindness will always be remembered. Resting at Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Rd. Saint John N.B. with visiting on Friday, October 17 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. The funeral service will be held from Brenan’s Bay View Chapel on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 11am. Interment will take place at Old Cedar Hill Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation in lieu of flowers.
