Obituary of Joseph C. Levesque

Surrounded by his family, Joseph C. Levesque passed away on Friday, June 6, 2014, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Joe was the son of the late Albert and Jean Levesque and was born on February 25, 1938 in Grand Falls, NB. Joe worked at the Port of Saint John for 32 years and retired in 1995. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Joe leaves behind his wife Mary; their sons, James, John (Kim), Brad (Donna) and Darren (Tracy); 4 granddaughters, 3 grandsons; sisters, Claudette, Shirley, Jane, Susan and Grace; brothers, Raymond, Steve, Phillip, Lloyd and Wesley; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Joe was also predeceased by 2 sisters and 5 brothers. Resting at Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John (634-7425) with visiting on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held from Brenan’s Bay View Chapel on Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place in Greenwood Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
