Obituary of Gerald Herbert Lint

With very heavy hearts, the family of Gerry Lint, husband of Joan E. (Wilkins) Lint, announce his unexpected passing on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at his residence. Born October 18, 1935 in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of the late Harry and Muriel Lint. Gerry spent his entire career working for Air Canada, retiring in 1995 after 37 years with the company. He travelled the world for many years as head of the organizing committee for the Air Canada System Golf Tournament. Gerry also dedicated over 25 years to Lancaster Minor Hockey as the Association's treasurer. After retirement, Gerry enjoyed his cherished summer residence at Grand Lake with his family and his Grand Lake friends. Besides his loving wife, Gerry is survived by his sons: Andrew (Holly) of Rothesay, and David (Carolyn) of Moncton; beloved grandchildren: Will, Matthew, Madeleine, and Mikayla; and several nephews and a niece. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Anne, and his brother, Donald. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, 634-7425, visiting will be Sunday, December 1, 2013 from 1-4 PM. A private family service will be held at a later date, and interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances to the Alzheimer's Society, St. Mark's United Church, or a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family. Please place online condolences and remembrances at www.brenansfh.com.
