Please accept my deepest condolences on the lose of your dad and grand-dad. I did not know him personally but served him often at the west-side Bulk Barn. He always struck me as a very kind man and was alway a pleasure to serve. May our Lord grant you "HIS PEACE" during this time. Blessings Leanne Boudreau

Despite the fact that we haven't been in touch quite like the 'old days', little did I expect the news that Jim was imparting on your behalf. Going back a l o n g way, I was partially responsible for Cec catching the BIRDBUG, having been one of the group congregating next to your home (and a neighbour's involvement)on a weekday evening. Beginning slowly, but quickly getting more deeply involved, he never slowed down, chasing birds in all parts of the province. His secret weapon was a spotter which focused on Saint's Rest Marsh which gave him a leg up and not forgetting an understanding boss. All our times birding together, especially while ATLASing, provided hours of entertaining fellow- ship which I cherish. He was a talented individual and I am happy to have been counted amid one of his friends. Doreen & David Smith

Our condolences to you and your family. Cecil and I had many enjoyable experiences chasing birds and checking out the flora around N.B. I was always in awe of his knowledge in these areas and his patience in trying to teach me.

I was sad to read of Mr. Johnston's passing. He was an old friend of my late father, Charlie Stubbs, for many years, and I have fond memories of asking him about unusual backyard bird sightings many years ago.
