Obituary of Mary Louise McAllister

Mary passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, August 25, 2013 surrounded by her family. Born February 24, 1961 in Saint John, she was the daughter of Marven and the late Eleanor (Long) McAllister. Mary was a free-spirited woman with so much love for her family. As a Nurse, she had dedicated over 30 years to the caring and nurturing of others. She had a wonderful sense of humour that will be missed by all who knew her. Mary is survived by her 4 daughters: Natasha Chishti (Shawn Cormier), Nadia Chishti (Bryan Gartside), Yasmin Chishti (Kavish Chandra), and Joli McGraw; her brothers: Keith (Renee), Ken, and Gord (Kathy); sisters: Sharon Edwards (Trevor) and Lori O’Keefe (John); several cousins, nieces, nephews, and the family dog, Stan "The Man". She was predeceased by her mother in June 2011. Resting at Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, 634-7425, with visiting on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 from 2-8 PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2013 at 11:00 AM in Brenan’s Bay View Chapel.
