Obituary of Anne Leah Balmer

It is with great sadness that the family of Anne Leah Balmer of Serenity Cove Senior Care Home, Woodman’s Point, NB, announces her passing, which occurred on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born at Oak Point on February 23, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Captain James R. Balmer and Elsie (Harvey) (Balmer) Clark. Anne is survived by several nieces and nephews and many great- and great-great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by sisters Eliza Machum, Christine Johnson, and Jean Estey. Resting at Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John West, (634-7425) with visiting on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 from 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at 10: 00 AM from St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Oak Point. Interment will take place at St. Paul’s Cemetery, Oak Point.
