Obituary of Glenwood Albert Myshrall

It is with great sadness that the family of Glenwood Albert Myshrall of Saint John West, husband of Georgina (Reid) Myshrall, announces his passing on Monday, February 18, 2013 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on May 14, 1934 in Fredericton, NB he was the son of the late Harold and Catherine "Cassie" (Storey) Myshrall. Glenwood was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren, who brought him so much joy. Glenwood loved anything to do with Draft Horses. In his younger years he enjoyed giving sleigh rides. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Georgina, his son, Christopher (Barbara); three grandchildren, Jacob, Jeremy and Robyn; one sister, Shirley Myshrall (Eddie); three brothers, Melvin, Harold (Sally) and Allan Myshrall (Sharlene); one aunt, Lena McCully; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Glenwood was predeceased by his parents and two brothers, Charlie and Roy Myshrall. The family extends a sincere thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff of the Saint John Regional Hospital Dialysis Unit, 4CN, Dr. Poirier, Dr. Bewick and Dr. Cockeram and their staff, family and friends for the special care and compassion over the past six years. In keeping with Glenwood’s wishes there will be no formal visitation or funeral service. A private family graveside service will take place at a later date. For those who wish remembrances may be made to the Saint John Regional Hospital Dialysis Unit or the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John, NB (634-7425).
