Obituary of Blanche Muriel Travis

Surrounded by her family the passing of Blanche M. Travis occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday, January 4, 2013. Born in Black Lake, Quebec, she was the daughter of the late Archibald and Hilda (McElreavy) LeBlanc. Blanche spent the greater part of her life in New Brunswick and she was the wife of the late Herbert Travis. Blanche is survived by four daughters, Brenda Kokko, Sandra McAdam, Donna Travis and Cindy Travis (Daniel Morin), one son, Michael Travis (Sharon), a sister Joyce Jones and a brother Glenn Leblanc (Diane), six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Brenan’s Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John West, (634-7425), with visiting on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place later in the spring.
