Obituary of Stephen Wayne Young

It is with broken hearts the family of Stephen Wayne Young wish to announce his passing on Monday, November 11, 2024 at the Saint John Regional Hospital after a period of failing health. Stephen was born in Black’s Harbour, N.B. in 1953, to the late Preston Young and Minnie (Baldwin) Young, and beloved husband of 48 years to Caroline Mary (Tremblay) Young. 

Stephen is survived by his wife; Caroline, one daughter; Samantha Diane Young, of Saint John, onegranddaughter; Reanna Mary Sears, of Saint John, two brothers; Eric Young of Tillsonburg, Ricky Young, of Pennfield, five sisters; Daine Sichel, of Portland Oregon, Carol Manning, of Ontario, CathyWatson, of Pennfield, Susan Young of Pennfield, and Jackie Young, of Tillsonburg, several nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

Stephen was predeceased by his parents; Preston and Minnie Young, two brothers; Ralph Young, Dennis Young and one sister; Mary Weil.

The arrangements are under the care and direction of Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave. Saint John, N.B. (506 634 1701). As per Stephen’s wishes cremation has taken place.There will be no visitation of funeral service at this time. Donations to the charity of the donor’s choice in Stephen’s memory would be appreciated.
