Obituary of Stephen Allan Hill

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Stephen Allan Hill at Shannex Tucker Hall on November 10, 2024. Born on June 25, 1959, in Saint John, NB, he was a son of the late Roland and Eleanor (Lawson) Hill.

He will be greatly missed by his second mom Edna Hill, his aunt Ruth Perry, brother John (Barb), sister-in-law Barb (Norrie), nieces Sarah, Katie, Jennifer, nephews Blake, Jamie, Colin, Nicholas, many grand-nieces and nephews, stepmother Anne and many dear friends. Stephen was predeceased by his parents, brother Norrie and nephew Andrew.

As a German shepherd dad for nearly 50 years, his dogs were his babies. He left behind his beautiful King Shepherd, Kota.

A devoted son, brother and uncle, Stephen was happiest when helping others. His beautiful smile and quick wit endeared him to all. Stephen graduated from Millidgeville North High School in 1977. He worked for 43 years at Braxco / Scotsburn. A decorated athlete in his youth, Stephen enjoyed watching sports throughout his life. He loved going for walks, especially through Rockwood Park, caring for his beautiful yard and being a wonderful neighbour.

His family wishes to express heartfelt thanks to the loving staff at Tucker Hall and the many caregivers who met Stephen throughout the SJRH the past two years.

Arrangements are under the care of Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506-634-7424).
