Obituary of John M. Lockhart

LOCKHART-the death of John M. Lockhart of 146 Germain St., husband of Margaret Ann (Coakley) Lockhart, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Sunday, January 18, 2009. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 14 and had served in the Canadian Army. Mr. Lockhart was employed with Irving Paper until his retirement a number of years ago. Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Jack (Yvonne) of Malmesbury, England; two brothers, Kenneth of Sussex, and Howard (Jean) of Quispamsis; one sister, Barbara Barry (Arthur) of Saint John; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Tuesday from 7 to 9 and on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John the Baptist Church on Thursday morning at twelve o'clock. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
