Obituary of Alphonsus L. Gallagher

GALLAGHER-the death of Alphonsus L. Gallagher of the Turnbull Nursing Home occurred at his residence on Friday, January 16, 2009. He was born in Saint John, a son of the late Charles and Genevieve (McKenzie) Gallagher, and had been employed at with Saint John Shipbuilding until his retirement a number of years ago. He is survived by one brother, Paul Gallagher of Saint John; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Monday afternoon at 12:05 P.M. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
