Obituary of Helen E Colgan

COLGAN-the death of Helen E. Colgan of 25 Lyden Drive, Quispamsis, wife of William Cleveland, occurred at St. Joseph's Hospital on Thursday, December 18, 2008. Helen was born in Saint John, a daughter of the late Joseph C. and M. Florence (Markey) Kane. She had been a nurse at the Saint John General Hospital and St. Joseph's Hospital for forty years before operating a special care home in Quispamis. She was predeceased by her first husband, James B. Colgan, in 1988. Besides her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Linda C. Colgan of Quispamsis; her grandson, Jim Colgan of Quispamsis; and her sister, Olive Turner of Saint John. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Monday morning at ten o'clock. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
