Obituary of Mabel M. Guimond

GUIMOND-the death of Mabel M. Guimond of 36 Brentwood Crescent, widow of Gregory Guimond, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Sunday, July 27, 2008. Mabel was born in Saint John, a daughter of the late Felix and Ursula (Cyr) Hebert. She had been employed at the Saint John General Hospital and the Saint John Regional Hospital for many years until her retirement a number of years ago. She was predeceased by three brothers, Vincent, Donald, and Bernard Hebert. She is survived by her daughter, Valerie Porter (Brian) of Saint John; three granddaughters, Natalie Jacquart (Mike), and Tanya Hussey (Jeff), both of Saint John, and Brenda McIntyre (Brian) all of Willow Grove; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Tuesday from 7 to 9 and on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Thursday at 12:05 P.M.. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
