Obituary of Colleen Anne Bouchot

BOUCHOT-Colleen Anne Bouchot of Langley, B.C., passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, June 25, 2008, having lost her graceful managed battle with cancer after two years. Colleen was born in Saint John on March 12, 1938, the eldest child of the late Adolphus and Levisa (Fleming) Kelly. She was educated in Saint John and moved to Bridgetown, N.S. where she lived, worked, and loved for over 20 years before moving to British Columbia. She was predeceased by two brothers, Douglas and Paul Kelly, and a sister, Fran Walsh. She is survived by her steadfast and loving husband, Maurice Bouchot of Langley; her daughters, Linda Hasley (William) of Carleton Corner, N.S., Dr. Christine Hall (Rick Anthony) of Victoria, B.C.,Terri Milton (Randy) of Falmouth, N.S.; her step-daughters, Barbara Bouchot (Dayton) and Belinda Bouchot (Eric), both of Langley; her siblings, Joanne Gordon(Tom) of Aldergrove, B.C., Rose Dupuis (Martial) of Penetanguishe, Ont., Sharon (Thompson (Vinny) of Martinon, Claire Kelly of Toronto, Ken Kelly(Gail) of Quispamsis, Charles Kelly (Susan) of Saint John, Howard Kelly(Ella) of Grand Bay-Westfield, Connie Mitchell (Sam) of Kingston, N.B., and dedicated friend, Judy Benjamin of Saint John. The loves of her life were her grandchildren, Jeff, Kristen, Natasha, Alysha, and Lucas; and her brand new twin great-grandsons, Dayton Jr. and Lincoln. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews across this great country. Colleen's love of life, her gardens and flowers, of music, of cooking and taking care of her family with great dedication and abundance will be sadly missed by all who loved her. She has been a great inspiration and tower of strength with boundless optimism and a positive outlook in the face of great adversity. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Friday from 2 to 9. Service will be held in Fitzpatrick's Chapel on Saturday morning at 10:30.Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice or the Langley Hospice Residence, c/o Langley Memorial Hospital, 22501 Fraser Highway, Langley, B.C.
